²⁰ He did the same with the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant sealed^[a] by my blood, which is being poured out for you. ²¹ Yet look! The hand of the man who is betraying me is with me on the table! ²² The Son of Man is going away, just as it has been determined, but how terrible it will be for that man by whom he is betrayed!”
